Cáritas Argentina is an organization belonging to the Catholic Church which woks to address different social issues arising out of lack of resources. Throughout the country, there are more than 40,000 volunteers who assist people, families and communities in vulnerable and social exclusion situations by providing them with spiritual guidance and tools to help them change their reality on their own.

This organization was founded in Argentina in the 1950s, and in 1969, the First National Cáritas Meeting was held in Villa Carlos Paz, Córdoba. Until mid-1970s, their help was limited to the donation of food, medicine and clothes, but in the 1980s, they became aware of the need to encourage activities that contributed to the individual development of the most underprivileged and the entire community. Their daily work includes providing assistance and responding to needs or emergency situations of the communities that need it the most. Their challenge is not only to provide food and shelter, but also to provide emotional support, listen to people, and organize activities that may improve people’s lives.

One of its offices is located in Arroyo Seco, Santa Fe and Inalpa was able to collaborate with it. In order to support their work, we donated 30 boxes of food so that they can keep helping those who need it the most.
We also had the opportunity to help at the Headquarters of the Padre Ignacio Foundation, where we were warmly welcomed and they let us cooperate and do our bit.

If there is anyone who would like to make a donation to this organization, they can do it by visiting their website or in-person at any of the offices they have throughout the country.
